Job Review – end September

Well, the job at Ely has now been completed satisfactorily. As well as the Indian Sandstone patio we’ve already mentioned, there were 4 raised beds (for flowers and shrubs), two circular beds (created using more sandstone), and shingle areas. We also installed an irrigation system, properly tested so that each jet produced an appropriate flow of water – thank goodness it was a warm day when we did it – our clothing dried out quite quickly!

So for the next few days we’re catching up with a few day or half day jobs before we start another large job closer to home, in South Wootton. And also we have time to develop our website (the relaunch of which you are currently reading through).

Log orders are starting to come in. We expected them to increase when the weather got colder and dusk arrived earlier. We’re lighting our log burner in the evenings now, and think that others will be doing the same. If you need logs, have a look on our Logs and Kindling page for the details.
